I’m fundraising for the charity Sands!

This year I'm taking part in My Marathon My Way to raise vital funds for Sands during this incredibly difficult time.

In these uncertain times, the Sands helpline and online community are vital in keeping bereaved families connected by offering a safe, confidential and compassionate space to talk.

The NHS is stretched and Sands are there to support with the various emotional needs bereaved parents and families have day to day, which can be heightened in such uncertain times.

Sands is not immune from the effects of this pandemic so I’m taking on My Marathon My Way to save lives with every mile.

Our story

Saturday 26th Sep
As most people know our handsome boy was born asleep at 37+2 weeks. Sean was my second baby and my pregnancy went fast and I wasn't that bad with sickness. Just before 37 weeks I called the hospital to explain he wasn't moving as much and because it was a bank holiday I wasn't allowed over they sent a midwife to my house to examine me to which she was adamant she could hear his heartbeat so I'm not the professional so took her word for it and I was booked on for a scan the following day, but at my scan our worlds where turned upside down they couldn't find his heartbeat and we got transfered to the hospital for an emergency section 😔 hospital staff where fantastic from the moment we arrived to the time when we had to leave the ward empty handed and hearted. Please donate to help this amazing charity xx
